Joseph Marshall, MD Medical Director of Radiology Joining Dameron as our Medical Director of Radiology under Central Valley Imaging Medical Associates, Inc., Joseph Marshall, MD, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Radiology, and he holds a certificate of added qualification in Interventional Radiology. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, and his postgraduate internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and Valley Medical Center, Fresno, respectively. While at UC San Francisco, Dr. Marshall also served as a research fellow with the department of dermatology, as well as a chief resident with the department of radiology. Shortly after that, he became a vascular-interventional fellow with the department of radiology at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Marshall currently holds memberships with the American College of Physicians, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiologic Society of North America, the American College of Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology. When he’s not at Dameron, Dr. Marshall enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering for his church, traveling, wine tasting, running and reading every day. Eric Cornwell, MD Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs Newly appointed as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs, Eric Cornwell, MD, joins Dameron’s executive team and medical staff with a focus on enhancing liaison and communication between the hospital and the medical community. Dr. Cornwell brings with him many years of experience, including general surgery, women’s health and urology. He will be responsible for many important hospital services and programs, including the Stanford-affiliated cardiothoracic program, the hospital’s surgicalist program and a host of other physician-focused services. He will also provide physician leadership and hospital interface with all hospital-based physician services including the hospitalist service, anesthesiology, radiology and pathology. Dr. Cornwell will also serve as president of the Dameron Medical Group. Dr. Cornwell received his medical degree from DartmouthMedical School in Hanover, NewHampshire, and completed his internship and residency at University of California, Davis, Medical Center. During this last year, Dr. Cornwell served as medical director for surgical services here at Dameron, and previously he spent more than 30 years with Kaiser Permanente in various key physician leadership roles.
