Jennifer Markovich, DNP, RN, PCCN, CNE Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing Executive Responsible for overseeing and coordinating our nursing department and its daily operations, Markovich has joined Dameron as its new chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services. Formerly with Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, where she served as a nursing director and director of education and training, Markovich brings a wealth of operational, clinical and workforce development experience to Dameron. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a master of science in nursing from Walden University and a doctor of nursing practice from Grand Canyon University. George V. Dous, MD, FACC Cardiologist Dr. Dous has recently joined our medical staff and specializes in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Dous received his medical degree at South Valley University in Sohag, Egypt, and served his fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the State University of New York in Staten Island. He also served as an interven- tional cardiology fellow with the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Dous is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a registered physician in vascular examination. Harpreet Parmar, MD Cardiologist Dr. Parmar is one of Dameron Hospital’s practicing cardiologists, specializing in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Parmar received his medical degree at the University of Nebraska in Omaha and his internal medicine degree at Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (affiliated with the University of Wisconsin). He served his internal medicine residency, as well as his cardiology and interven- tional cardiology fellowships, at Aurora Health. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and by the National Board of Echocardiography.
