Dameron Hospital | Health Outlook | Spring 2020

Dear friends and community members, I’M DELIGHTED to welcome you to this issue of Health Outlook . As you may already know, Adventist Health began managing Dameron Hospital on Jan. 1, 2020, and it has been an amazing experience to be a part of this great healthcare organization and the Stockton community. Since I began serving as Adventist Health Lodi Memorial’s president in 2015, I have had the privilege of leading our team to inspire health, wholeness and hope in Lodi. We now have the opportunity to expand this good work through Dameron Hospital here in Stockton. No pain, big gain Living with chronic pain impairs our quality of life and can lead to health complications, because it limits our ability to lead active lifestyles. Our Rapid Strides Accelerated Recovery Knee Replacement Program is nothing short of amazing in terms of its benefits to patients — less pain, better outcomes and faster recovery — which are all a part of the fundamental principles that drive advancements in medicine. Most people associate knee replacement surgery with a lengthy downtime and extended rehabilitation process. Our program has patients taking their first steps within the first few hours after surgery — with minimal pain! We strive to help people get back to leading the lives they want and deserve. The right care at the right time Our Emergency Department is fully prepared to help you when accidents and illnesses occur. We provide around-the-clock care with a comprehensive array of services to provide timely diagnosis and treatment of your condition. When something doesn’t feel right and you’re not sure what to do, rest assured that we have medical professionals who can help. With our expanded Fast Track area, we’re able to provide you with the right level of care at the right time. In this issue, we explain how our Fast Track area complements our Emergency Department to help patients receive timely care that is appropriate for their medical condition. Our mission at Adventist Health is living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope, and we look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your life in this way. Thank you for the privilege of serving you. What is happening at Dameron Information in Health Outlook comes from a wide range of medical experts. Models may be used in photos and illustrations.
